Situated on a charming road in the center of historic German wine country, The Brinkman Farmstead Bed & Breakfast is a new post-and-beam barn that features an interactive dairy processing area on the first floor and guest rooms in the hayloft. The structures on the farmstead date back from 1857 to the farm's latest addition in 2012. This working farm is actively involved in producing farmstead artisan cheese from its registered Jersey cow herd, so guests can watch as the owners work with their herds, feed the calves and make cheese. Guests can also expect good country food, with the menu featuring cheese products, homemade baked goods and items from the local area, including a selection of wines produced nearby. As for the guest rooms, they each include a private European-inspired bath, individual heat and air controls, a sleep harmony mattress, ceiling fans, a window seat overlooking the countryside and vaulted ceilings.
