Situated in beautiful Rose Street, less than a minutes walk from Princes Street and within 5 minutes from Waverley train station, the Bus Station and the conference centre, making us the ideal choice for shopping trips, sightseeing and business guests. Rose Street was built during the Georgian period as part of the New Town area of Edinburgh. Originally the building that has become the Hanover Hotel was the office for a bank, but in 1999 Waugh Taverns Ltd. bought the building and turned it into the hotel we have today. The Hotel was refurbished in March 2006 making it an even more attractive place to stay.
