Many famous people have stayed here including Marie Antoinette, Goethe and Trollop. A third traditionally styled building houses a cuckoo clock "factory" and a restaurant often used for lunch stops.

The lobby is in the main building and is very traditional with exposed timber beams and a tiled floor.
