This enchanting desert oasis is a mere 2.5 hours from Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego. The hotel, one of the grandest of the Greater Palm Springs hotels, is nestled at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains.
Renovated in 2005, this hotel consists of a main building and an annexe with a total of 920 rooms. The lobby houses a 24-hour reception and a cloakroom. Further facilities include a conference room, a hairdresser, a bar, and a shop. Culinary options include a range of à la carte restaurants serving acclaimed cuisine. Younger guests may let off some steam in the playground. A laundry service (charges apply) rounds up the services on offer.
The resort fee is about 20 US dollars per room per night and includes unlimited local calls, the hire safe, tennis courts, use of the athletics club, room service, the shuttle to the golf course, tea and coffee making facilities in the room, and the daily newspaper every morning.

All work is being done between the hours of 8am-5pm and cannot be heard by our guests.During this construction, we have provided new signage for guests to arrive and gain easy access to our lobby.Our main pool by the tennis courts and fitness center is currently getting new landscaping and surfacing. All work will be completed by 11/30. Of course our signature 41 other pools remain ready.Azur, our French restaurant is currently closed until early next year. We are remodeling and will be opening with a new dining concept soon. There is no noise or construction happening that will inconvenience our guests.**
Many of the Resort Casitas are the original rooms built in the 1920s, and combine early California decor with modern appointments. Situated in the central garden area of the property, each Resort Casita has a patio and mountain and/or garden views. Some casitas are available with a fireplace. Available with one king or two queen beds.
