Misty Mountain Lodge and chalets borders the malaria-free Tsitsikamma National Park, situated off the Route 62, 230m above sea level offering views of the ocean, indigenous forest and Tsitsikamma Mountains. Spread over 48 hectares, our spacious accommodation offers its own unique décor, percale linen, towels and complimentary eco-friendly bathroom amenities. Each is also equipped with tea-and-coffee making facilities, a mini fridge, satellite TV, a patio and BBQ facilities. The Lake Side Tented Lodges are positioned along the lake and the Ocean View Lodges are all sea facing. A variety of meals are available in the onsite ala carte restaurant, ranging from country breakfasts, lunches, dinner, picnic and BBQ baskets, complimented by a comprehensive wine menu. Misty Mountain Lodge and chalets makes use of borehole water. 1 litre of bottled water is supplied and additional water can be purchased at the restaurant. The reserve offers activities, such as quad bike tours, mountain biking, foot golf, 9 hole chip and wedge mashie golf, guided hiking trail, indigenous forest walks and fresh-water fishing. The Misty Mountain Reserve is also surrounded by many wild animal sanctuaries and adventurous activities including canopy tours, bungee jumping and water parks. Situated along the Garden Route, Misty Mountain Reserve is within 168 km from the Port Elizabeth Airport. Tours and shuttle services are available on request.
