Offering a rural environment, this 17th-century Manor house is located on the hilltop of Porto da Cruz village, on the north side of Madeira Island. It is considered a heritage and cultural site of public interest. All rooms are decorated with antique furnishings, typical old hardwood floors and private bathrooms. There is a communal living room with free Wi-Fi and cable tv, and the kitchen is available to be used by guests. Continental breakfast is included, with homemade cake and jams. Coffee and tea are always available, complementary of the House, and there is also a mini bar where some beverages can be purchased. Guests can relax in Quinta da Capela’s garden and admire the privileged views to the ocean and to the surrounding mountains. Alternatively guests can make use of Quinta’s private chapel. Quinta da Capela is approximately 4 km from the center of Porto da Cruz and 8 km from Santo da Serra Golf course, making it an ideal location for hiking in the Levadas. The use of a rented car is recommended.
