This hotel is the first Caribbean resort and offers an enchanting ambience. Built in 1700 and since fully restored, the hotel comprises 12 floors with a total of 202 rooms. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange desk, a cloakroom and a lift in addition to a café, a newspaper stand a hairdressing salon, a casino, a games room, a restaurant, Internet access and conference facilities. Younger guests are able to participate in the kids' club activities and there is a laundry service to take advantage of. Those arriving by car are able to make use of the hotel car park.

Each of the rooms comes with hardwood floors, antique furniture, a bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, an Internet connection, a small fridge, a washing machine, ironing equipment, a double or king-sized bed and a hire safe. Individually controllable air conditioning features as standard and many of the rooms also have a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, oven, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities as well as a wrap-around balcony with spectacular sea views.
