From the lobby, newly renovated in shades of light blue, lavender and olive green, to its connections with the local arts community, there' s nothing commonplace about this venue. The Kimpton Group's very first property - it opened in 1981 as the Bedford - it occupies the beautiful 1929 building that once housed another much- loved San Francisco hotel. The site has a tradition of stimulating creative spirits and playing host to artists and their work.
