White Elephant Safari Lodge is situated within the Pongola Game Reserve Wilderness. Set at the banks of Lake Jozini, the lodge offers water based safari activities as well as the traditional land based activities. White Elephant Safari Lodge has tented accommodation, equipped with a veranda, a bathroom and outdoor canvas shower. The tents have tea-and-coffee making facilities, a minibar, overhead ceiling fans, mosquito nets as well as insect gauze on windows and tent-flaps. There is also a private camp with en suite chalets, outdoor pool and kitchen. Motorized water sports, boat cruises and canoeing can be arranged. White Elephant Safari also offers a black rhino tracking experience with a chance of viewing Black Rhino on foot, as well as elephant research activities. Other activities offered include game drives, educational bush walks, fishing and bird watching. The Golela-Border post into Swaziland is a 40-minute drive away.
