Location

The ryokan is one of hot spring inns standing on both sides of the main street, in the one-street-village, Noboribetsu Onsen. It takes 15 minutes by public bus or taxi from JR Noboribetsu Station and it is just a few steps from Noboribetsu Onsen Bus Terminal to the hotel. Noboribetsu is located in south-western Hokkaido and is one of the most well-known hot spring areas. The source of the village's hot spring water is called "Jigoku-dani" (Hell Valley) which produces 10,000 tons of hot spring water a day. Jigoku-dani is an area surrounded by mountains, but is free from vegetation, steams from its surface and generates odor of sulfur. It is one of major tourist spots in the town.
